How to get to the conference venue from JR Sapporo station

1. If coming from Aspen Hotel, enter JR station from the north-east entrance.
2. Go down the stairs on the right hand side of the Kiosk
3. If coming from ANA Hotel, you can find the Toho line subway station rather easily. Then proceed to the step 10.

3. Walk through the door on your left hand side.
4. Turn to the right and go straight for a few minutes.
5. Then, turn to the left and go through to the end of a corridor.
6. Turn to the right. Then, you'll find a down escalator to the second basement.
7. Take the down escalator. It takes about 5 min to get here from JR Sapporo station.

8. There are Ticket-Vending machines on your left hand side and TOHO subway line's automatic ticket gates are on your right side. The fare between Sapporo station and Gakuenmae station is 200 JPY. You can also buy a prepaid card called "With You Card". (Each card has a 10% bonus, e.g., a 1,000 JPY With You Card is equivalent to 1,100 JPY, but no refund is available.)
9. Go through the gate and down the stairs to the platform. Take a subway on your left hand side, whcih is bound for Fukuzumi.
10. Get off at Gakuenmae station (the third station from Sapporo station). It takes 5-6 minutes to get here at subway Sapporo station.

11. Getting off at Gakuenmae station, walk along the platform toward the forward direction of the subway, and go up the stairs or the escalator.
12. Get out of the automatic ticket gate, turn right, and go up the stairs or escalator to the ground floor
13. Turn right, and there you'll find a plate sign indicating the way to the symposium site
14. Get out of the building, turn right and walk about 50m, then there is an entrance to the building of the conference venue.
